Imagery in poetry and storytelling is important. Recently I sought to stretch myself visually by undertaking a certificate program in photography. I’ve been an amateur photographer for years, and the program helped me both refine my eye and learn the latest enhancement tools like Photoshop and Lightroom.

Strangely right- and left-brained, I get engrossed by numbers and words. The inner workings of Google metrics was compelling to me, so I undertook a class with Google Academy and recently received certification in Google Analytics.

Also since I am a writer by nature, learning more about inbound and content marketing seemed a no-brainer. I was recently certified by HubSpot Academy in both.
